Brian Farrell will again be in the pit for the upcoming ROC performances of The Elixir of Love, single-handedly providing both musical direction and brilliant, richly-shaded accompaniment from the piano. Brian is a Julliard graduate and recipient of the Vladimir Horowitz Scholarship.  He has garnered a 1st prize award at the Yamaha Keyboard Competition as well as having held the position of Assistant Conductor with Los Angeles Opera.  He has also been Musical Director for all 13 productions that Repertory Opera Company has mounted.  Reviews have hailed him as “a truly prodigious artist who creates an impressive backdrop for the singers” and who “casts a musical spell.”
